Coronation Street star Ben Price distracted fans as he posed a question which left his co-star Sally Ann Matthews 'nervous'. The actor, who is famed for playing Nick Tilsley in the ITV soap, was seen in a video posted on the Instagram page for the podcast he co-hosts, Sofa Cinema Club.
Nick hosts the Sofa Cinema Club podcast with Corrie co-stars Colson Smith and Jack P Shepherd, who play Weatherfield's Craig Tinker and David Platt, which they first launched in 2018. It hears, and sees, the trio set aside an evening to settle down on the sofa and watch a movie.
After each movie night, the soap stars swap their sofas for the studio to discuss what they loved, hated, and rated about the films. Last year Jack, Colson, and Ben took their podcast to the stage with a sold-out live show at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation and are set to do their second-ever live show in a couple of months time, this time at The Lowry in Salford.
In the meantime, the boys are still busy putting out podcasts and keeping their Instagram packed with content. And on Sunday (March 26), a new video posted to the page featured Ben delivering a question. The caption read: "Ben wants to give you this week’s ‘Would You Rather’ before we hear how the lads answered it on tomorrow’s episode!"
"Every week on the episode I ask the boys a would you rather question. I'm going to ask it to you first... Here is the 'Would You Rather' and it's been sent in by our one and only Sally Ann Matthews." And the two options fans had, courtesy of the Jenny Connor actress, were: "Would you rather your life be a permanent sitcom or a permanent quiz show."
Sally Ann also shared the video to her Instagram Story and confessed: "Nervous. Can't lie." But as some started to share their answers, others were distracted by Ben's attire as the soap star sported a salmon-pink cardigan over a black tee and dark trousers.
@robbowyer1 asked: "Why’s ben wearing Gail’s cardigan?" @mandymoocampbell wrote: "I’m distracted by all the pockets on your cardigan but a sitcom." @conran87 quipped: "Ben, Agnes Brown called.. She wants her cardigan back!
@linz_js said: "I have too many questions about the cardi. I need that pocket arrangement in my life but are there also double pockets on the other side because it looks like there's only one lower one? So if you wanted to put your hand in Upper Pocket, the other hand would have to go in Lower Pocket which would feel/look weird and lopsided. Please explain." @hollyann007 added: "That sweater is everything!!!!"
