Coronation Street's Jude Riordan has issued a painful health update on Instagram.
The St Helens' youngster has wowed audiences with his powerful performances as Sam Blakeman in the long-running soap.
Jude's portrayal has won acclaim from fans and the Corrie star has took home the Best Newcomer Prize at both the National Television Awards and the Inside Soap Awards.

His mum regularly keeps Jude's 58.4k Instagram followers informed with updates from Jude's exciting life as he forges an impressive career in showbiz.
However, she shared a painful looking snap on an Instagram Story today after the 10-year-old suffered a nasty bruise while playing football.
The post said: "When you save a goal, but your chin loses.
"Yes, it's sore."
Jude recently thrilled fans with his return to Coronation Street earlier this month.
In the ITV soap, Sam has been grieving ever since the devastating loss of his mum, Natasha Blakeman in last year's dramatic Super Soap Week.
The character has been mute following the incident, but he regained his voice after he started to play chess with Roy Cropper.
