Coronation Street's Jude Riordan has sent a celebratory message to his TV director dad.
The St Helens actor has wowed audiences with his powerful performances as Sam Blakeman in the long running soap. His mum regularly keeps Jude's 64.5k Instagram followers informed with updates from his exciting life as he forges an impressive career in showbiz.
They have taken to the social media platform today to issue a tribute to Jude's dad, Paul, who is celebrating his birthday. They shared an adorable snap of the two together and captioned the image: "Happy Birthday Daddy."

Paul also leads a successful career in showbiz as a television director. He broke through in a behind the scenes role in Hollyoaks before he went on to earn directing credits for popular soaps such as Emmerdale, Casualty and Coronation Street.
Paul is also active on social media and sends messages of support as he follows his son's rise to stardom. Jude was awarded a National Television Award at the most recent ceremony for Best Newcomer - and his dad took to Twitter to say how proud he was of his son.
Paul tweeted : "Well this is pretty special… Proudest dad on the universe." Jude hails from a very talented family and recently revealed his brother, Zach, had joined him for a scene on the Cobbles earlier this month as Sam competed in a chess tournament.
He posted on Twitter: "When it was bring your Brother to work day. Sam smashed Oscar out of the bistro. BEST DAY so far @itvcorrie #bubblebrothers #samvoscar #corrie."
