Jude Riordan has become one of Coronation Street's most beloved stars.
The 11-year-old has wowed soap fans as Sam Blakeman ever since he first arrived on Weatherfield in 2020. He has since faced a turbulent time on the show as he lost his mum, Natasha, when she was accidentally shot by the murderous Harvey Mellor.
Jude has become embroiled in another dark storyline this week as he told his nan, Audrey Roberts, he wanted to see the Northern Lights in Canada. This has unknowingly scuppered the plans of killer, Stephen Reid, after they suggested they could stay in one of his properties to save money.

Jude's performances in Corrie have won critical acclaim as he bagged a National Television Award for Best Newcomer last year. His performances have continued to earn award recognition as he was nominated for Best Young Performer at the Inside Soap Awards this year.
Showbiz runs through the family as Jude's dad has forged a successful career as a television director. Paul Riordan broke through in a behind the scenes role in Hollyoaks before he went on to earn directing credits for popular soaps such as Emmerdale and Casualty.
Jude's social media account is a ran by his mum and she took to Instagram to share an adorable snap of the two together for Paul's birthday in April.
Jude proudly hails from St Helens and supports the region's famous Rugby League team. He is also a keen Liverpool FC fan and his mum shared a snap of him celebrating in the iconic red shirt after Jurgen Klopp's side lifted the Premier League in 2020.
Jude has also enjoyed a successful career away from Weatherfield. His mum took to Instagram earlier this week to post a photo from his first ever acting role as Little Phil in the CBBC adaptation of Jaqueline Wilson's Katy.
The caption said: "Five years ago today I wrapped on my first ever acting job CBBC Katy. Loved that role playing Little Phil. Where I met @chloelea_19 who is smashing telly land cast and crew were awesome. Lucky me #cbbc #katy #jacqulinewilson #firstactingjob #littlephil #youngperformer #bbcminiseries #forever6"
Jude also current stars as Tyler in the Sky comedy series, Brassic. He appears in the show alongside former Corrie star, Michelle Keegan, and ex-Emmerdale actor, Joe Gilgun.
Jude thrilled fans last month when he revealed Brassic will be returning for season five next year. He said: "Tyler back for Brassic series 5. Have you watched Brassic 4 yet?! Can't wait till I'm 15 to watch every series. Filmed my first day in August."
