Coronation Street fans think they have already worked out newcomer Laurence's wedding riddle after Todd Grimshaw made a surprising discovery. During Monday night's trip to the cobbles (October 31), viewers saw an excited Sean Tully getting ready for a Halloween outing with his new man and son, Dylan.
After rinsing Todd about his own love life, Sean was still on the wind up as his housemate rushed around as he was taking Summer Spellman to her doctors appointment. Wanting to savour the moment, Sean got Todd to take some pictures on his phone. But when he complained about the images, Dylan suggested they take one on Laurence's phone as it was better.
As Todd reluctantly attempted to take another snap, he was shocked to discover an image pop up of Laurence with a woman, in a wedding dress, at a wedding. It quickly became clear that Todd believed Laurence is hiding a secret from Sean. And later, he wasted no time in letting him know.

Later this week, in the Rovers, viewers of the ITV soap will see Laurence catch Sean trying to crack the code on his phone. Snatching his phone back, Laurence marches out leaving Sean red-faced. By the end of the week, over at No.11, Glenda advises Sean that if he wants to win Laurence back, he needs to make a grand gesture by turning up at his surgery with flowers.
But Corrie fans think the image is completely innocent and know exactly who the women in the picture is. @landd96498356 tweeted: "Sean’s Bf’s picture is probably of his sister at her wedding. Do we really need to go down these ridiculous blind alley storylines #corrie."
@diggamatik commented: "Seriously, #Corrie ... the old 'marriage photo' mix-up, of course #Lawrence is giving away his Sister!" @GeorgiaBowring echoed: "#Corrie Errrm Todd! That’s his sister not his wife!" @DionPetrie added: "It could be his sister Todd #Corrie."
Barman and Underworld machinist Sean met the handsome dentist as he helped out Todd Grimshaw at a funeral in scenes aired on the ITV soap over the summer. Laurence was one of the mourners at Mr Pugh's funeral which was saved by George Shuttleworth's sister Glenda after her brother took too many strong painkillers after breaking a tooth on one of Sean's dinners.
Both Todd and Sean appeared interested in the newbie but neither made a move. Later, Sean was left moping around after missing out on his chance to ask Laurence out for a drink. But Glenda jumped into action and suggested Sean pretend to be a patient at Laurence's dental surgery.
But it was Laurence who ended up making the first move and it wasn't long before Sean and Laurence were seen getting on famously over drinks in the bistro.
Sean's new man is played by Robert Shaw Cameron. Antony Cotton, who plays Sean, took to Instagram and Twitter to share a snap of the pair together at Corrie's summer bash which was held at The Ivy in Spinningfields in July, confirming his new on-screen love interest before he made his screen debut.
Alongside the picture, Antony, 43, wrote: "This one may be a keeper… @itvcorrie @ITV #RobShawCameron #Shaw #Laurence." Robert has previously appeared in Corrie – playing a police officer in a 2011 episode.
