Mechanic Kevin had an affair with colleague and neighbour Tyrone Dobbs' late partner Molly while he was married to Sally Metcalfe, which resulted in Molly giving birth to his Jack. But Molly tragically died on the cobbles in 2010, with Tyrone believing Jack to be his.
She lost her life after she and her son became trapped in the shop following the street's horror tram crash. As Jack was rushed to hospital, Sally waited with Molly as emergency services attempted to free her. It is then that the truth came out as during her final moments, she revealed to Sally that Kevin is Jack’s father.
