ITV Coronation Street fans spot 'weird' detail in on-set snap with Sue Cleaver, Jodie Prenger, and Tony Maudsley

Coronation Street stars including Sue Cleaver, Jodie Prenger, and Tony Maudsley appear to have given fans a glimpse of what is to come as they all shared various snaps from the Salford-based set. The actors, best known for playing Eileen Grimshaw and Glenda and George Shuttleworth in the ITV soap all beamed as they filmed together with other members of their blended on-screen family.

They were joined by Gareth Pierce, who plays Todd Grimshaw, Antony Cotton, who is famed for playing Sean Tully, and his on-screen son Dylan Wilson, played by Liam McCheyne, as well as Patti Clare, who is much loved for playing Mary Taylor on the cobbles.

Tony started the posting by sharing a family snap of him and his co-stars stood posing on the stairs in their fictional home. "All round to Number 11," he typed alongside the brilliant image which featured tinsel on the banister and Jodie in a Christmassy apron.

Liam, who reprised the role of Dylan earlier this year, shared a slightly different image of the smiling soap stars squashed onto the staircase which actually leads to nowhere. "My number 11 family," he penned. "Home for home now for just over two years and well it certainly would be very different on the street without this lot they truly mean to world. Thank you always."

Jodie was quick to reply: "Awwww aren’t ya fabulous kidda! What a bunch." The West End and TV actress, who has only been on the street for a short time after bursting onto the cobbles as Glenda Shuttleworth, then shared the images herself and said: "These lot…I love 'em ta ribbons I tell you. What a fabulous bunch."

Catherine Tyldesley, who played Eva Price in the ITV soap, was among the first to comment, writing: "This fills my heart," alongside a red heart. Ex-Emmerdale star Natalie Anderson, known for placing Alicia in the Yorkshire-based soap, replied: "Beauties!"

But some fans felt it was a bit odd thanks to the festive nods in the images. @spoilerdale said: "um why does this feel weird? seeing all the Christmas decor up."@philmurphy88 laughed: "Not filming Christmas episodes by any chance?!" @hamletthevizsla added: "Filming Christmas already? Awww."

However, the age-old conversation about the size of Eileen Grimshaw's house also returned as fans got to see all at once who actually lives in her home. @rikkypethers commented: "So 7 people live in Eileen’s small terraced house, while George’s big house sits empty …" @joanne_gaskin joked: "That house must be like the Tardis.

@paul_s_glenn asked: "How do you all live in a two up two down?" @katymartin42 said: "Where do they all sleep in that house." @chrispoplife76 quizzed: "Have they got enough bedrooms at Eileen’s?" @traceydunwoodie laughed: "How many bloomin bedrooms has number 11 got." @mark026896 joked: "A few are sleeping on the floor surely or the bath?"

And Sue, who has played Eileen in Corrie for more than two decades, was the last to share the heartwarming behind-the-scenes snap as well as another of herself and on-screen partner Tony donning paper hats out of a Christmas cracker. "Oh y’know, just another day at work with these lovely lot…" she wrote alongside a series of hashtags including 'love my job' and 'Christmas in October'.
