Coronation Street fans believe they know how Emma Brooker will exit the soap after the star who plays her announced she was leaving.
Last month Alexandra Mardell, who plays Emma, revealed she's heading for pastures new four years after making her Weatherfield debut.
The actress said in a statement that she was calling time on her stay on the Coronation Street cobbles as she felt it was 'the right time' for her to leave.
She has since filmed her final scenes as the bubbly, pink-wearing barmaid and also enjoyed her leaving do with plenty of her now former co-stars.
While Alexandra may have already had her last day on the famous street, Emma is still making an appearance on-screen with her exit due to air next month (April).
When Alexandra's exit was announced, Corrie boss Iain MacLeod teased that she'll 'wave goodbye to the cobbles' before adding 'at least for now,' suggesting the door is being left open for a return.
And now fans think they have figured out just how that'll happen.
During Sunday night's episode of the ITV soap, viewers saw Emma secretly meet up with Jon, played by Jordan Ford Silver, who is the grandson of Ted the elderly man who died after he was knocked over while Emma was in the car supervising learner driver Faye Windass at the wheel.
It comes after the pair met when Emma attended Ted's funeral as she felt guilty for his death.
Faye and boyfriend Craig, who quit his job in the police force due to keeping Faye and Emma's secret, already caught Emma enjoying a meal in Speed Daal with Jon and warned her not to see him again for all of their sakes.
After initially deleting his number from her phone, Emma ended up back in contact with Jon after he arrived on the street to find her.
They soon ended up going on another date, enjoying expensive cocktails at a fancy hotel, but with Emma already telling Jon that she just sees them being friends, he revealed that he's moving away very soon.
"I’m moving away to Australia," he told her. "I’m really excited, I’ve always wanted to go but I’m also a bit gutted now because it means I won’t be able to get to know you better."
"Big move," Emma replied looking a bit deflated. "You know I used to live in Australia. Let’s look at the positive side - we could be really romantic and treat it as a summer fling."
"Let’s just enjoy the time we have together - no pressure, just lots of fun," she added and as fans pointed out, Emma's mum Fiona Middleton, who was played by Angela Griffin, also lives Down Under.
@JamieNews81 tweeted: "Emma's gonna go to Australia to with him. Wonder if she tells him first #Corrie."
"Emma’s exit storyline leaving with this new guy to Australia #corrie," @Cinders12345678 said.
@mikepriestley13 questioned: "Will Emma go to Australia with teds grandson and it will be her exit scenes #Corrie."
"Emma and that chap are cute are they gonna leave to Australia as the one who plays Emma is leaving #corrie," @chattymandan commented.
While @Wee_Westie28 suggested: "I think Jon will find out about Emma’s involvement in Ted’s death and they’ll argue and then kiss and make up and she’ll go back to Australia with Jon for a fresh start. #Corrie #CoronationStreet @itvcorrie"
