Coronation Street fans have been left distracted by Adam Barlow during latest scenes. The character, played by Sam Robertson in the ITV soap, was seen on-screen during Wednesday night's trip to the cobble as a worried Tyrone Dobbs and Fiz Stape continued to need his help.
The couple sought the advice of the solicitor after they discovered a mystery writer had gone to the press with a book they have written all about Fiz's killer ex, John Stape. At first, Tyrone was sure it was Fiz's jilted ex, Phill Whittaker, leaking the information after it was revealed earlier this year that he was gathering information on John to write a book.
However, it soon came out that it was Fiz's daughter Hope that had been divulging information to her 'friend' on her game, who goes by the name Mad Dog. She has since been included in the tell-all book about her dad and Fiz and Tyrone have been all they can to get the publication stopped.

After enlisting the help of Adam Barlow, Fiz appeared to have made huge strides by sitting down with the publisher and playing at her maternal heartstrings to get the parts about Hope withdrawn from the book. As Fiz and Adam prepared to celebrate in the Bistro, Tyrone head found out the author of the book was doing a Q&A at a hotel.
He stormed out of work and headed to the venue and heard the writer discussing his theory that Fiz was complicit in John's hideous crimes. And so Tyrone wasted no time in getting up on stage and slapping the man who had put pen to paper. And that definitely didn't help matters.
A video of Tyrone's outburst then went viral and the publishers told Fiz that not only were they going to go ahead and publish the book, but they were also bringing the release date forward leaving her devastated. And her and Tyrone's hopes were crushed further when Adam revealed how much it would cost, and that they could face additional fees of £100,000 if they lost the case.
Later, the couple were forced to break the news about the book's upcoming publication to Hope, who lashed out at Tyrone as he 'broke his promise' about getting the book stopped. Hope also decided she no longer wanted to live at home, deciding to stay with her uncle Chesney until her mum talked her round. Meanwhile, Tyrone was arrested and cautioned for his attack on the writer.
And despite the story being about Fiz and Tyrone, Corrie viewers couldn't help but comment and Adam. Or more specifically, his hair. @PJDavies1962 tweeted: "Adams hair is a health and safety issue #corrie." @AntMelia94 commented: "Adam’s hair is so gelled down #Corrie."
@MeeshyJay posted: "Adam must have used the whole jar of gel ffs #Corrie." @PeripateNic wrote; "What I see when Adam Barlow is on the screen #corrie," alongside a picture of a tub of hair gel. @floweroflondon shared: "Adam's hair is now solid #Corrie." @penniless_poet added: Adam looking a bit red there - reaction to the chip fat on his hair maybe? #Corrie."
