Fans of Coronation Street were all in shock at how quickly time had passed as one character prepared to celebrate a special milestone birthday.
Amy Barlow, played by Elle Mulvaney, is set to turn 18 years old this week on the soap as her mum Tracy Barlow, played by Kate Ford, reminded her that she is set to inherit £40,000 from her dead nan.
On tonight's episode, Tracy said: "You should be excited for this birthday because this is the one where you inherit 40 grand off grandma Deirdre."

Amy replied: "I forgot you're a capitalist."
She added: "It'll help set me up for the future - help to pay for uni."
The mum and daughter started to argue as Tracy was insistent that Amy use the money to buy a house and Amy was adamant it was to be used to pay for university.
They were interrupted by Mary and stopped as Amy said: "I just wish grandma was here to see it."
While Amy was wishing for her dead relative to see her major life choices, fans were remembering a time when Deirdre was around to watch Tracy make terrible decisions.
Back when Amy was born, Tracy featured in a huge memorable storyline where she led the iconic Roy Cropper to believe he was the father of her child.
Fans reminisced as they took to Twitter.
Mike said: "Wow Amy is 18 soon. I feel old… 18 years since Tracy pretended Roy was her dad. Famous scene #Corrie @kateford76."

William said: "It doesn't seem like 18 years ago that Tracy was telling Roy that she slept with him and she was pregnant! #Corrie #coronationstreet."
Before Amy was born, Tracy spiked Roy’s drink at a wedding reception, took him home and put him in her bed, much to Ken and Deirdre’s shock when he appeared at breakfast.
She later announced that she was pregnant with his child, leaving him contemplating suicide when Hayley left him.
The Croppers later reunited and agreed to buy Tracy’s baby. To make sure they had parental rights to the child Roy was forced to marry Tracy.
It was later revealed that Steve was baby Patience’s father, she had never slept with Roy and Tracy wanted her daughter back.
The baby was returned to Tracy, renamed Amy and Roy and Tracy’s marriage was subsequently annulled.
To say sorry Tracy asked the Croppers to be godparents.
