Coronation Street viewers were baffled during tonight's episode as they questioned the whereabouts of some missing characters.
Wednesday's edition of the ITV soap saw Chesney Brown finally make up with his mother-in-law Bernie.
The character played by Sam Aston has been at Bernie's throat for weeks, after a series of well-intentioned but unsuccessful plans on her part.

Gemma couldn't help but notice her partner was being nicer than usual towards her mum, with the two of them joining in a conversation to "gang up on her".
A thrilled Gemma then announced the three of them were going out for the day to "celebrate" the occasion.
However, fans of the show on Twitter were distracted throughout the scenes as they questioned the whereabouts of Chesney's quadruplets.
Gemma gave birth to four children on the soap in 2019 and viewers continue to question how the youngsters are barely seen on screen.
Taking to Twitter, Dion Petrie said: "Are we going to get to see the quads?"
Mick Kenny asked where the quads "are hiding"
Dayjur11 joked: "Quads have been locked in the cupboard again"
Fonejacker83 said "Odd how there’s so many references to the quads but they are never to be seen"
