Ellie Leach has established herself as one of Coronation Street's most popular figures.
The 22-year-old soap star has played Faye Windass on the ITV show since 2011. Faye has been central to some of the show's major storyline as she went through the early menopause and has also endured a rollercoaster romance with Craig Tinker.
The character has been hit with a dilemma after Jackson Hodge returned to Weatherfield. The two are the parents of Miley and Faye appeared to have her head turned this week when Jackson said he wanted them to live together and be a proper family.

Viewers following the show on Twitter are concerned this storyline will spell the end of Faye's time on the Cobbles and fear she will dump Craig for Jackson.
Corey said: "Craig is going to end up telling Faye to go to his daughter and Jackson huh…..you watch, he will see where her heart is."
Dion added: Faye is going to leave our Craigy #Corrie."
Doreen commented: "Is Faye smiling cos she knows she's going to bog off with Jackson?"
Faye's Corrie future seems to be up in the air but Ellie has previously spoken out about how much she loves working on the soap. She told Mirror Online in 2019: "It is crazy to think it is 10 years It has gone so fast but I also feel like I have been there my whole life.
"For what time I can remember, Corrie has been my life. As a child, you just can’t believe it. You don’t really know at that age what is happening. Really surreal.
“I definitely didn’t imagine I would still be here 10 years later. I am the type who doesn’t like to think too far into the future. I hope I am there forever. It is an amazing job and I love being there."
Ellie regularly keeps fans updated on Instagram with her exciting life away from the screen as she forges an exciting career in showbiz. She hails from a talented family as she is real life cousins with Brooke Vincent, who is renowned for her role as Sophie Webster in Corrie.
Ellie has previously revealed how she used Brooke as valuable person to take advice when she first for the role. She said: "I knew Brooke was on it. It was weird because she was on the telly and sat in my living room at the same time.
“When I first got the part Brooke just said ‘If you need anything I am here’, and she knew the ropes so if I needed any advice I could go to her.”
The two enjoy a close relationship and have previously revealed how they had the best time out in Liverpool together last summer. Brooke posted a series of snaps as they enjoyed a glorious afternoon on the rooftop of Mason's restaurant.
She captioned the post: "Always the best time together."
Ellie was back in Liverpool last weekend as she dazzled at Aintree Races for Ladies Day.
Ellie enjoyed the afternoon from the Silver Birch Garden Party and told the ECHO she was excited as she looked forward to a night out in the city. She laughed: "I'm meant to be going to Bongo's Bingo after here. Crazy day, if I make it that is. Hopefully I'm not too drunk."
