ITV Britain's Got Talent's first finalists confirmed after live show

Musa Motha and Amy Lou have become the first Britain's Got Talent contestants to make it through to next Sunday's grand final. It followed an action-packed live semi final on Monday night (May 29) that included a show-stopping performance by former winners Diversity, a savage dig at Strictly Come Dancing by Simon Cowell and presenter Ant McPartlin taking a tumble just minutes in.

Talented dancer Musa, 27, was sent straight through to the final by viewers, so it went down to the judges' vote. Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Amanda Holden were then forced to pick between sunbed receptionist-turned-singer Amy Lou and ukelele musician and school teacher Abi Carter-Simpson.

As the judges struggled to decide, it went to the public vote. And it saw the second spot in the final going to Amy Lou.

Among the performers in the first semi-final were Gamal John, 36, who wowed the judges with his rendition of James Brown classic It's A Man's Man's World. The judges also gave their verdicts on illusionist Enzo Weyne, comedian Ichikawa Koikuchi, the Parkour Collective and ballroom and Latin group United 2 Dance (KLA).

Forty acts are competing across live semi-finals on ITV all this week. The winner will get £250,000 and a spot on the bill at the Royal Variety Show.
