Mo Gilligan is hosting this year's Brit Awards alongside BBC Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo and TV presenter Maya Jama.
The stand-up comedian was born in Lambeth, London and in 2017 he gained global attention after a very famous rapper quoted one of his hilarious gags on Instagram.
Mo, 33, uploaded his comedy clips - which consisted mainly of character sketches - to social media before becoming the famous face we know now.
An established comedian, Mo has sold-out tours and has two Netflix specials. His first, titled Momentum, was released in 2019 and his second, Mo Gilligan: There's Mo To Life, will premiere on the platform on 17 February.

In 2020, Mo became a judge on The Masked Singer and a year later joined the judging panel for the first season of The Masked Dancer.
He also hosts The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, which debuted in 2019 on Channel 4 and is a regular on Celebrity Gogglebox, alongside his pal and fellow comedian Babatunde Aleshe.
Before fame, Mo was working for Levi Jeans in Covent Garden. But things changed for the Londoner when a certain rapper spotted his gags online and the comedian became a huge success.
Mo started out with his hilarious comedy videos, before catching Drake’s attention back in 2017 with a clip parodying ‘Cockney guys when they see a bit of sun’.
Donning on a cockney accent, he cried out: "F***ing hell it’s a bit hot.
"Jesus f**king Christ, it’s like Jamaica. Julie, get a coupla cans in! Get a coupla cans, love."
Shortly after, the Canadian rapper shared a snap to his Instagram, writing in the caption: "Enjoying this 'Julie bring me a couple cans' weather today," reports My London.
Talking to Jonathan Ross in 2018, Mo said he was at a party when Drake made the post - and it took a moment for it to sink it that he was referencing Mo's comedy.
"I read it and was like... oh my gosh. And then I was like, that was really cool. And everyone was phoning me and stuff," he added.
Mo went on to meet Drake a year later at Wireless Festival.
Talking to Lorraine Kelly about his Brit Awards debut, Mo said: "I have been a fan of music since I was a kid.
"Used to love the BRITs. To be hosting the biggest music awards in the country is an honour. Really looking forward to it.
"Really excited. One of the nice things is we are having people in the arena, loads of people, and I always say the year starts on February 1 anyway."
