Fans of ITV's Beat the Chasers say they are 'worried' about Anne Hegerty who has been missing from the show this week. Anne, aka The Governess, has been replaced by Australian quizzer Issa Schultz on The Chase spin-off - with viewers wondering where she's gone.
Viewers have been taking to Twitter to voice their concern for Anne. Commenting during tonight's episode (May 7) @crazy_catz_x said: "Where's Anne I'm worried #BeatTheChasers." @LadyBugFPC tweeted: "@ITVChase @BradleyWalsh where is Anne on Beat The Chasers tonight? Hope she is ok."
@itsamy_xo asked: "Oh, where’s Anne?! is she okay?! #BeatTheChasers" @Wandoful added: "Beat The Chasers just isn’t the same without Anne. I miss her #BeatTheChasers."

Fans who keep up with Anne on Twitter will know why she has been missing this week. The quizzer announced on social media that she tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of filming and was therefore unable to take part.
Anne's post read: "Unfortunately I’ve contracted Covid-19 so won’t be filming this series of #BeatTheChasers. The fantastic @Issa25 will be stepping in for me and I’m looking forward to watching the series when it’s on air later this year. I feel fine, but I'm still positive! (in all respects)".
She took to Twitter to reassure viewers she is fine now. She replied to one fan: "Fraid I wasn’t on this series - I didn’t start testing negative until we’d nearly finished" and to another: "It was only mild and I’m fine now, but I couldn’t go into studio while I was testing positive".
And it's good news for fans of the Governess, as Anne's replacement isn't permanent and you'll be able to watch her on The Chase when it restarts next Monday.
Beat the Chasers will air every night this week from 9pm on ITV and ITV Hub. The Chase will return as normal to ITV and ITV Hub from Monday, May 23.
