Rockstar Games has called the recent flood of GTA 6 gameplay leaks 'heartbreaking' for its developers, in a rare public statement issued on Sunday across its social channels, as anger, sympathy and a fair bit of trolling erupted across the gaming community ahead of the game's 19 November release.
The leaks began earlier this month when an individual using the handle CYBERLEEK posted early Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay online. Since then, social feeds have been awash with clips and screenshots, spreading faster than many players could mute spoilers.
