It's probably time to update 7-Zip as the app has just been patched to fix a pretty big vulnerability

A screenshot of 7-Zip with its About window open, showing version 26.02 which fixes a vulnerability.

If you use 7-Zip for your file compression and decompression you might want to update, as there's been a pretty big vulnerability patched. And yes, I mean manually update, as 7-Zip doesn't auto-update.

You can download and run a new installer from the 7-Zip website. If you're updated to version 26.02 (or later, if you're reading this in the future) then you'll be fine. To check this, go to Help > About 7-Zip in the app.
