Justin Holbrook says "everyone knows" it was "not right" for Asu Kepaoa to make an on-field homophobic slur, vowing Newcastle will learn from the saga.

NSW Cup player Kepaoa received a six-game ban after pleading guilty to contrary conduct at the NSW Rugby League judiciary on Wednesday night.
