Upper Hunter residents living in the shadow of a proposed coal mine extension have questioned why the project's public exhibition period was only advertised in a national newspaper rather than locally.
The Bloomfield Group is seeking approval for the Rix's Creek North continuation project, which will allow mining to continue from 2035 to 2049.
