Tired O'Callaghan upset in women's 100m freestyle final

Mollie O'Callaghan has been pipped for gold in the 100m women's freestyle final, meaning her bid to surpass Ian Thorpe's world championships record will have to wait for another day.

And on an action-packed night, Australia's 4x200m men's freestyle relay team fought to the end to claim bronze behind a powerful Great Britain outfit.

O'Callaghan entered Friday night's 100m freestyle final in Singapore as the hot favourite and with the knowledge that a win would give her a total of 12 career gold medals at world championships - eclipsing Thorpe's Australian record of 11.
