The sixth free content update for Fashion Dreamer is now live. For a limited time, players can enjoy the "Retro Pop Fair" where influencers are invited to add a modern twist to their looks from the past. Meanwhile, wardrobes are sure to be bursting with creative potential and this is all thanks to the 56 new creative options added that include patterns, makeup, and showroom items, to name a few. There are also some interesting quality-of-life updates.
The free May Retro Pop update introduces these items to game:
- Six new types of nostalgic consumable patterns
- New hairstyle and eye highlight options
- Six new photo frames and two new poses to display the fashions of yesterday
- Four new types of showroom items
- 32 additional new items plus 4 new patterns in the Cocoon gacha – available immediately after downloading the update!
Players can also enjoy additional event functions along with Limited Fair which are exclusive contents for online mode. Some items and features though may not unlock until further progression in the game. By the way, Version 1.5.0 need to be applied to access new content.
As mentioned, the new update also makes some quality-of-life improvements in the game which include:
- Item limit increase from 6000 to 9000
- Ability to follow up to 500 Muses (previously 200)
- Adjustments to increase availability of gacha tickets and lucky coins, as well as gacha pull probability
- Ability to place select shoes and headgear on the showroom shelf
- The photo item vending machine now changes content each time
- Minor bug fixes among other updates
Fashion Dreamer is a creative-focused game where players get to express their unique styles through an avatar called a Muse. They get to come up with iconic looks from cozy casualwear and all the way to chic couture. This was made possible through the hundreds of available options which can be customized to be a truly one-of-a-kind look.
Once players can find their signature style, they can then show off their latest outfits across different areas known as Cocoons. It is there that they can also explore inspiring new fashions from other Muses. Players can also increase their influence by finishing design challenges to unlock even more customization options to elevate their brand.
Fashion Dreamer was launched on November 3 and made available for the Nintendo Switch. The physical edition is available at participating retailers for $49.99. The game is also available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for the same price.
