'It's disastrous': state scathing of nature reforms

A premier has taken aim at an overhaul of environmental protection laws, saying it could stop his state reaching its full potential.

The reforms aimed at better protecting the environment and speeding up planning approvals are expected to be rubberstamped by the Senate after the federal Labor government struck a deal with the Greens late on Wednesday.
