CHANDIGARH: Even as the building plan approval committee of the UT administration has given its approval to designs and drawings submitted by the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) for the general housing scheme to come up at IT Park, the board is yet to get environmental clearance for the project.
The board applied for environmental clearance for the IT Park general housing scheme in February. It got approvals for structure, public health, electrical, town planning and architecture from departments concerned. All these points were assessed by the urban planning and engineering departments.
