It didn’t take long for Matthew Stafford to go over the line set for his rushing yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl 56.
Just barely five minutes into the game, on the Los Angeles Rams’s second possession, Stafford broke out of the pocket for a seven-yard gain before sliding down. The rush put him over 5.5 rushing yards line set before the game.
If the number seems low, it’s because it is. Stafford is mostly a stationary QB who hit at least six yards just four times in the regular season. But he’s taken off more in the postseason, hitting six yards in each playoff game. Now, that includes the Super Bowl.

Now, over bettors need for him to not take too many negative yards on a rush, or kneel down for too much of a loss. But he does have three more quarters to add to his total.
