JAIPUR: The last few outings have been tough for star Rajasthan Royals’ batter Jos Buttler, but he is not panicky about it and will continue to ‘stick to what he knows best’. In the last five games, the Royals opener’s score reads - 18, 27, 0, 40, 0.
Talking about the slump in his form with the tournament reaching a crucial stage, the England batter said during a pre-match press conference on Thursday, “Yes, it is a crucial time in the tournament and that’s very exciting. This is the best way to look at it. Whether runs are coming or not, it is important for me to stick to what I know and believe in, and play my brand of cricket. I started the tournament doing that pretty well, but haven’t scored as many runs as I would have liked to score of late. But it is important for me to stay true to myself.”
