Police arrested three Israelis and seized a variety of illicit drugs at a party on Koh Phangan, and apprehended their alleged supplier.
Tourist police said a 33-year-old Israeli man and two Israeli women, aged 23 and 24, were arrested during a raid on a room at Bunny Villa on Sunday after a complaint about a noisy party with foreigners going in and out of the premises.
They also found and seized 3.32 grammes of cocaine, 28.99 grammes of ketamine, some powdered ecstasy and 29 vapes.
The three suspects allegedly told police they bought the drugs from a 48-year-old man who was also from Israel and who lived on the island, contacting him through WhatsApp.
The alleged supplier was later arrested at a house on the island where police found 33.36 grammes of cocaine, 16.07 grammes of ketamine, 23 ecstasy pills and another 10.39 grammes in small plastic bags. They also impounded 79,000 baht in cash found at the house.
The Israelis were taken to Koh Pangan police station and the three tourists charged with drug possession. The fourth suspect was charged with possession and supplying drugs.
