Recent Israeli strikes in Lebanon have resulted in a significant number of casualties and damage to infrastructure. According to reports from the Lebanese health ministry, at least 2,267 people have been killed and 11,022 injured since mid-September as Israel intensified its campaign against Hezbollah.
The latest report from the ministry highlighted 52 deaths and 72 injuries in Lebanon's Baalbek-Hermel region, affecting residents in 14 villages in the southern and eastern parts of the country. Israel's military confirmed targeting Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon and Beirut.
