An Israeli strike on the Christian-majority village of Aitou in northern Lebanon has raised concerns after it resulted in the deaths of 21 people. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday that the incident is currently under examination.

The IDF stated that the strike targeted what they believed to be a Hezbollah site in the area. However, they are now investigating the claim that Lebanese civilians were among those killed in the attack.
