Recent reports from Lebanon's health ministry confirm that at least eight individuals have lost their lives and 25 others sustained injuries following an Israeli strike in Sidon, a city located in southern Lebanon. The strike occurred in the Haret Saida neighborhood on Sunday, as reported by Lebanon's state-run National News Agency.

Sidon, a prominent city situated along the Mediterranean coast, is among the largest cities in Lebanon. Positioned approximately midway between Tyre and Beirut, Sidon has been a target of Israeli military actions, along with other cities in the region, since the commencement of a ground offensive on October 1.
