An attempted stabbing attack on Israeli soldiers took place near the Palestinian village of Hizma close to Jerusalem on Sunday, as reported by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The incident occurred while the soldiers were engaged in counterterrorism activity.
According to the IDF statement, a man drove his vehicle towards the soldiers and then proceeded to pull out a knife in an attempt to stab them. Fortunately, the soldiers were able to eliminate the attacker before any harm was done, and no soldiers were injured during the incident.
Truck Ramming Incident in Ramat Hasharon
Shortly after the stabbing attempt, a separate incident occurred in the city of Ramat Hasharon, north of Tel Aviv. A truck rammed into a bus near a military base, resulting in physical injuries to 33 individuals, as confirmed by Israel's emergency services (MDA). Additionally, four people were taken to the hospital due to anxiety following the attack.
