Israeli forces are said to still be present within Nasser Hospital, where they carried out a search operation for alleged deceased hostages based on credible intelligence. Health authorities in Rafah in southern Gaza reported at least 13 casualties, while Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza confirmed the death of at least 68 individuals. The Israeli military has claimed responsibility for the elimination of Hamas militants in both southern and central Gaza.
The ongoing military operations in Gaza have left residents in a precarious situation, with the potential for further escalations looming, particularly in the southern city of Rafah.
