In the wake of the devastating tragedy in Gaza, the Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed his deepest condolences for the losses suffered by Wael El-Tahdoum, a Palestinian journalist who lost his wife, three sons, and grandchildren in an Israeli bombardment.
El-Tahdoum's eldest son, Hamza, who worked as a journalist for Al-Jazeera, was also tragically killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a civilian car in Rafah. This further adds to the toll of Palestinian journalists, with 110 having lost their lives so far during the ongoing conflict.
