The Israeli military has reported that it successfully targeted and killed a Hezbollah commander in southern Lebanon. The operation was carried out by an IAF aircraft, which struck and eliminated Ismail Yusaf Baz, the commander of Hezbollah's coastal sector, in the area of Ain Ebel in Lebanon.
According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Ismail Yusaf Baz was a senior and veteran official within Hezbollah's military wing, holding a rank equivalent to a brigade commander. The IDF statement released on Tuesday confirmed the successful operation and highlighted Ismail's significant role within Hezbollah.
