According to the Palestinian state news agency, the operation involved Israeli special undercover forces disguising themselves as civilians and medical personnel.
The Israeli government contends that the three individuals killed in the raid were terrorists connected to both Hamas and Islamic Jihad. On the other hand, Hamas claims that these men were fighters from the Jenin Brigade, which serves as an umbrella organization for various armed Palestinian factions operating in the area.
