Israeli fighter jets have conducted airstrikes on alleged Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon following an attack by the Iran-backed Lebanese militant group on a village in northern Israel that left 18 Israelis injured.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that they targeted Hezbollah military compounds and terror infrastructure in the areas of Naqoura and Yarine in southern Lebanon as a response to the attack that occurred on Wednesday.
According to the IDF, the attack resulted in 18 people being injured, with three of them being civilians and the rest being soldiers.
