An Israeli drone strike in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin has resulted in the deaths of at least three individuals and left one person seriously injured, as reported by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The PRCS stated that the three deceased individuals were militants affiliated with the Jenin battalion of Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization. The incident took place near Ibn Sina hospital in Jenin, according to PRCS's director in Jenin, Mahmoud Al-Saadi.
The injured person, whose identity remains undisclosed, is currently in critical condition with severe burns covering their body, Al-Saadi confirmed.
In a statement issued by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Israel Security Agency (ISA), it was revealed that an aircraft targeted 'terrorist operatives' inside a vehicle in the vicinity of Jenin. The IDF and ISA further alleged that one of the militants killed an Israeli settler named Meir Tamari in 2023 near the Israeli settlement of Hermesh in the occupied West Bank.
