Israeli airstrikes inside Lebanon have caused injuries and casualties as the conflict escalates. Lebanese state news agency NNA reported that two individuals were injured when Israel targeted a building in Ghazieh, near Sidon in southern Lebanon. While no further casualties have been officially reported, Israeli airstrikes have been widespread across the country. In the coastal Tyre district, several strikes were reported by NNA.
The Lebanese minister of health, Dr. Firass Abiad, confirmed that 25 people have lost their lives in Lebanon since midnight local time. The offensive by Israel has primarily targeted southern Lebanon, known to be a stronghold of Hezbollah. However, Israeli airstrikes also struck the Harbata plain in the Baalbek district in northern Lebanon.
