
Speaking to ANI, Azar explained that the Middle East was already experiencing heightened tensions even before Modi arrived in Israel on February 25–26, 2026. However, Israel chose to act only after the Indian Prime Minister had concluded his visit.
According to Azar, the operational window for launching the strike emerged only after Modi’s departure. He said that once the opportunity arose, Israel’s cabinet approved the operation two days later.
