Israel's military has issued a warning to civilians in Lebanon regarding the presence of Hezbollah in certain areas, urging them to evacuate for their safety. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they would be conducting precise strikes against the Iran-backed militant group across Lebanon in the near future.

Following a weekend of intense exchanges of fire between Israel and Hezbollah, the IDF carried out extensive strikes on Hezbollah targets early Monday. This escalation marks the most significant conflict between the two sides since the Gaza war began last October.

In a news conference, an IDF spokesperson emphasized the importance of heeding the warnings issued by the military. Civilians residing in Lebanese villages near locations used by Hezbollah for military purposes, such as weapon storage facilities, were advised to evacuate immediately to ensure their safety.

Hezbollah, known as the most powerful non-state militia in the region, operates clandestinely, making it challenging for Lebanese civilians to identify its members or activities. The IDF spokesperson also mentioned that similar warnings would be communicated to the people of Lebanon in the coming days.
