Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stern warning to Yemen's Houthis after the group fired a missile deep into Israel. The incident occurred early in the morning when a projectile was launched from Yemen towards Israel. Fortunately, the missile most likely fragmented mid-air and landed in an open area in central Israel, causing no injuries.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed the attack and shared videos showing smoke rising from the impact site. Additionally, shattered glass was reported at a train station in Modi'in, a city located between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The Houthis, backed by Iran, claimed responsibility for the attack and warned of more strikes as the anniversary of a previous attack approaches.

Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized that Israel will not tolerate any threats to its security and vowed to exact a heavy price for any attempts to harm the country. The recent missile launch comes amidst escalating tensions in the region, with Hezbollah also launching projectiles into northern Israel from Lebanon.

Israeli authorities are actively investigating the incidents and taking measures to ensure the safety of civilians. Leaflets were reportedly dropped in southern Lebanon, warning residents of Hezbollah's activities in the area and advising them to evacuate until the end of the conflict.

The ongoing conflict between Israel, Yemen, and Lebanon has raised concerns about a potential wider Middle East conflict. Israel's military operations in Gaza, in response to attacks by Hamas, have further fueled tensions in the region.

As the situation continues to unfold, world leaders are closely monitoring developments and urging all parties to exercise restraint to prevent further escalation of hostilities.
