Israel releases Palestinian prisoners under Gaza agreement

Gaza: Hundreds of Palestinians held in Israeli jails arrive at the European hospital in Gaza as Israel begins releasing the remaining more than 600 Palestinian detainees scheduled to be freed as part of the Gaza ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel, according to Palestinian sources.

Palestinian sources told media that buses carrying the prisoners departed from Ofer Prison in the central West Bank, heading toward a reception center in the Beitunia area.
