The streets of Israel are ablaze as protesters demand Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu halts his plans to overhaul the judiciary.
The country's largest trade union, the Histadrut umbrella group, has joined the movement - with fears now rising that Israel's economy may become paralysed by the 800,000-worker deficit, ratcheting up the pressure in the PM's office.
Departing flights out of the country's main international airport were grounded in protest, affecting thousands of travellers.
