Gantz, a prominent political figure challenging Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, resigned as war cabinet minister in June, citing Netanyahu's approach towards Gaza. He echoed the Israeli government's determination to dismantle Hezbollah's capabilities and hold Lebanon accountable for terror originating from its territory.
