Israel accepts US-proposed plan for a ceasefire in Gaza but Hamas says deal still 'under discussion'

Israel has agreed to a US-proposed ceasefire plan for Gaza, according to the White House, while Hamas states the proposal remains "under discussion."

Israeli news outlets reported on Thursday that Benjamin Netanyahu has approved the plan proposed by Donald Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff and had told the families of hostages that Israel had accepted the deal.
