Ismaila Soro is set to depart Celtic for a switch to Portugal, according to a report.
The midfielder has been out of the picture under Ange Postecoglou and with game time set to be very limited once again it is claimed in the Portuguese media that the Ivorian will pen an initial loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season with FC Arouca. Journalist Pedro Sepúlveda has also claimed that an official announcement is imminent.
Neil Lennon brought the midfielder to Celtic on a four-and-a-half-year deal back in January 2020 but he has struggled to make his mark during his spell at Parkhead. He featured just 19 times in all competitions last term with 43 appearances in all during his time in Scotland.

Celtic have already been busy in the transfer market this summer as they get ready to defend the Premiership title they won back from Rangers last season. They have also secured Champions League group stage football as they get set to mix it with Europe's top sides in the premier competition in club football.
Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota - who both hugely impressed on loan from Tottenham and Benfica - have joined on a permanent basis in big-money deals.
Alexandro Bernabei has also pitched up from Lanus to provide competition for Greg Taylor at left-back in a £3.75million deal with Daizen Maeda has made his stay full-time and Benjamin Siegrist has put pen to paper on a four-year deal to compete with Joe Hart for the No1 jersey.
Asked if the big fees for Jota, Carter-Vickers and Bernabei was a major statement of intent ahead of a huge season, Postecoglou said: “Yeah, I believe so. I don’t think that was ever in doubt — the club have supported me from the moment I’ve come in.
“You saw that back in January, we brought in four players in that window pretty quickly, and that was a real sort of pivotal point in our season and our attempt to win the league.
“They have done the same now. The club understands the vision we have, what we want to create and what we want to build."
