Bonfim on the fight's key moment
“The strategy was to take him down early in the fight, tire him out, then look for the submission. Then I saw the opening for the knee, and I’m happy I was able to do that.”
Bonfim on fighting on the same card as his brother
“We’ve been fighting on the same card for the past five fights, so we’re used to it. Our head coach asked us if we want to keep fighting on the same card. We said yeah. If you can put us on the same card, we’re happy to do it.”
Bonfim on what he wants next
“We want to be back fighting as quick as possible. We’re going to go back home, talk to our manager, (and) see what’s coming up. We’re healthy – no injuries – so we just want to get back out there as quickly as possible.”
