CHENNAI: Chennaiyin suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down to FC Goa 0-2 in the Indian Super League match at the Marina Arena here on Friday. Goa, with this win, made it two in a row.
Shillong boy Redeem Tlang put Goa ahead in the 10th minute while Moroccan Noah Wail Sadaoui scored in added-on time to help Goa garner full points. It was a brilliant display of attacking football by Goa, who came into this match after beating East Bengal 2-1 in their opening match of the season. Though it was an evenly fought first-half, Goa dominated the second half completely and left no chance for Chennaiyin to make a comeback into the game.
