HYDERABAD: Hyderabad FC earned their first point of the season by holding two-time champions Chennaiyin FC to a goalless draw in their Indian Super League (ISL) clash at the GMC Balayogi Stadium on Tuesday. The hosts were reduced to 10 men in the 71st minute but showed great resilience to keep CFC at bay in the final minutes. The conditions were tough for both teams due to a heavy downpour that continued for most part of first half.
HFC created several chances but lacked the finishing touch. They are yet to score a goal this season. They had a great chance in the 9th minute when Abdul Rabeeh won the ball and passed it to Cy Stephen Goddard, who failed to clear the defence.
