Manchester United youngsters Isak Hansen-Aaroen and Charlie McNeill have both shared how much they enjoyed their first-team experience in Sunday’s 1-1 friendly draw with Rayo Vallecano.
Both were named in Erik ten Hag’s squad for the first time against Rayo, with Hansen-Aaron coming on for the final six minutes. The teenage duo impressed at youth level in the United academy last season.
Striker McNeill netted 17 times for the under-23s last term while his midfield colleague managed to rack up five assists in total. Neither have been handed their competitive first-team debuts yet but the pair will be encouraged by Sunday’s inclusion.
