iOS 26.1 finally lets you turn off liquid glass, here’s how

If you’ve bought a new iPhone in the last five years, you’re in luck - (The Independent)

The latest version of iOS includes a bunch of customisation options for the iPhone, including the ability to tone down the transparent ‘liquid glass’ effect, as well as more language features and new controls for Apple Music and the camera.

Launched in September, iOS 26 is the new operating system launching alongside the iPhone 17 and iPhone Air. The new software requires the power of the A13 Bionic chip or newer, meaning this year it’s the end of the line for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.
